Has spent the last 16 years in a variety of senior management positions in the Asia region and presently Senior Partner of Private Equity firm GEMS in Hong Kong. Prior to GEMS he was the CEO of Sunday, a cellular telephone operator in Hong Kong. Mr. Wilmer started and led the operation as the CEO of the fastest growing cellular operation in India, Spice Telecom and from 1981 to 1996, Mr. Wilmer was with the Hutchison Whampoa group. His assignments included being the CEO of Hanny Magnetics, a Hong Kong listed company that manufactured and distributed electronic storage products. He was also the CEO of Orange France, based in Paris. He also spent 8 years with Husky Oil, a fully integrated oil and gas company based in Alberta, Canada. He holds an Economics degree from Queens University in Ontario, Canada.
Worked previously as Senior Producer for Core Design on over 30 titles in a development capacity including Producer on the Tomb Raider series of products, as well as for Core's parent company Eidos Interactive as Senior Producer in the Japan subsidairy. He subsequently served as the Business Development & Outsourced Production Consultant in China for Eidos Interactive's early global outsourcing efforts. Prior to founding Pearl Digital Entertainment Troy spent a total of 14 years with Core Design / Eidos. Troy studied Computer Science at Derby University.
Adam brings 12 Years of Finance, Business Development and Entrepreneurial experience to Pearl, having worked at major investment banks such as JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley and UBS in New York, London and Toronto, as an Asia-Pacific financing consultant out of Hong Kong, and also as a co-founder of ru4.com, a New York-based e-commerce application service provider. He holds a BA in International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania with a specialization in Economics and Emerging Markets.
Yeh has been involved in the games software business for over 15 years, and is currently the managing director of Alta Multimedia Ltd. The company, based in Hong Kong, licenses and distributes a variety of online entertainment products; plus other education software and videos. Prior to his current position, Yeh was managing director at Deltamac Ltd. where he was instrumental in developing in the early 1990's the legitimate games software market in Hong Kong. The company subsequently expanded its business to include film licensing from numerous Hollywood studios for video releases. He graduated from Williams College in 1978 with a double major in Economics and Studio Art.
Ed Lupton is a founder and principal of Avila Capital Ltd, a specialist real estate fund with operations in Hong Kong and Macau . He holds various property investment and development assets in South East Asia . Ed has 17 years experience based in Hong Kong as an entrepreneur and property investor and has built and acquired several business including IFP Ltd, a financial printing business, acquired by a division of ADP, the NYSE listed conglomerate; City & Financial Asia, a global courier service for investment banks, acquired by a division of the UK's Royal Mail; and Food Pacific Ltd sold to Swiss publishing group, Ringier AG. He holds a BA Hons from Nottingham University.
